Good prompt kaise likhein: business work ke liye simple formula

Agar aap new employee se kahein "hamare offer ke baare me kuch likh do", to aapko kuch vague milega. Agar aap batayein ki ye kiske liye hai, offer kya hai, kitna long hona chahiye aur kya avoid karna hai, to kuch useful milega. AI assistant bhi aisa hi hai. Aap jo instruction type karte hain use prompt kehte hain, aur good prompt bas ek good briefing hai.

5-part formula

1. Role. AI ko kiski tarah kaam karna hai? "You help a furniture shop in Pune reply to customers."
2. Task. Aapko exactly kya chahiye? "Write a reply to a customer who asked about delivery."
3. Facts. Use kya pata hona chahiye? Aapka product, price, timings, policy. Agar aap facts nahi denge, to AI unhe khud bana lega.
4. Format. Answer kaisa dikhna chahiye? "Under 60 words, simple English, WhatsApp style."
5. Limits. Use kya nahi karna hai? "Do not promise a date. Do not use emojis. Use only the facts above."

Har baar paancho ki zaroorat nahi hoti. Lekin jab answer weak ho, to usually in 5 me se ek missing hota hai.

Weak prompt: "Write a message about our Diwali offer."

Better prompt:

You help a made-up sweet shop in Indore write to its regular customers. Write a WhatsApp message about our Diwali gift boxes. Facts: three sizes of box, orders close two days before Diwali, free delivery inside the city, bulk orders for offices are welcome. Format: under 70 words, friendly, simple English, one clear next step (reply to this message to order). Limits: do not mention prices, do not use more than one emoji, do not add any fact I did not give.

Second prompt likhne me 1 minute zyada lagta hai, aur correct karne ke 10 minute bachte hain.

Jo aapko pasand hai uska example dein

Agar aapke paas koi message hai jo pehle achha kaam kiya tha, to use paste karein aur kahein "Write in this style." Ek good example AI ko ek paragraph ki description se zyada sikhata hai. Pehle names aur phone numbers hata dein.

Answer se baat karke use improve karein

First answer ek draft hai. Use reply karein:

• "Shorter, and remove the second sentence."
• "More polite. This customer is unhappy."
• "Give me three versions with different first lines."
• "Rewrite it in simple Hindi in English letters."

• Enquiry ka first reply: role, product facts, customer se poochhne ke liye ek question, under 60 words.
• Summary: "Summarise this in five points for a busy owner. Then list any decisions needed and any dates."
• Polite refusal: "Write a polite message saying no to [request], give [reason], and offer [alternative]."
• Apni writing check karna: "Find unclear sentences and mistakes in this text. Do not rewrite it; list the problems."

3 safety habits

• Har fact, number aur date check karein answer use karne se pehle. AI confidence ke saath galat ho sakta hai.
• Private details bahar rakhein. [customer name] jaise placeholders use karein aur details baad me add karein. Dekhein team ke liye simple AI rules.
• Us se wo facts na poochein jo use pata nahi ho sakte, jaise kisi product ka aaj ka price ya last month change hua rule. Fact khud dein, ya khud look up karein.
